Case Study - THE YORKSHIRE CRISP COMPANY
THE YORKSHIRE CRISP COMPANY
The Yorkshire Crisp Company was launched by Tony Bishop, a former farm manager and his business partner, Ashley Turner. They produce premium crisps made the finest potatoes, hand cooked in batches and packaged in smart mini drums. With varieties from Chardonnay Wine Vinegar and Tomato, Basil and Mozzarella, the flavours are carefully chosen to appeal to an affluent customer.
Tony Bishop from The Yorkshire Crisp Company says: "Farmers' markets were an important part of our launch strategy. We find them an invaluable source of consumer feedback and opinion. Our crisps have no artificial ingredients, preservatives or flavour enhancers, which our customers find really appealing."
